Roll-Up Insect Screens

Roll-up insect screens are a modern and flexible solution that lets you ventilate your home without worrying about unwanted insects. Compared to fixed screens, they have the advantage of being retractable – similar to a roller blind. They’re ideal for spaces where you occasionally need full access through windows or doors, while still maintaining full insect protection.

The frames are typically made of aluminum or plastic, while the mesh is crafted from durable fiberglass or another sturdy material. Operation is manual (via handle or cord) or can be automated.

How they work:
The screen mesh is rolled up into a protective cassette. In vertical systems, the cassette is mounted at the top; in horizontal systems, it’s on the side. When needed, the screen is pulled out and secured. After use, it retracts into the cassette, protecting it from wind, rain, and dirt.
